lead by your design

Hi I'm Rae

For over twenty years, I hustled to be of service and make an impact in the world through my career and, ultimately, for my worthiness.

During my career, I put out a lot of fires, slew a few dragons, and regularly donned my superhero cape. I regularly worked 12-hour days, and nobody ever heard the word ‘no’ out of my mouth when they asked me for help. But regardless of how hard I worked, I never felt it was enough. I earned a bachelor's and a master's degree and several professional certificates.

I spent twenty years as a community liaison and coordinator for private, government, and nonprofit stakeholders, including elected officials, agency directors, and grassroots community agencies. I led complex public/private projects, provided full administrative support to leadership for multiple county agencies, and made recommendations for improved service delivery for the most vulnerable populations in in a large metro.

I also worked as a design consultant and brand identity developer across multiple sectors, serving in board leadership roles and in a marketing and communication capacity. In addition, I led several innovation initiatives in local government with the aim of informing social science research and advancing public policy. These included large multi-partner research grants and pilot projects in behavioral economics, predictive analytics, and workforce development.

I have trained hundreds of people in marketing strategies, supported businesses with consulting services, and offered coaching services to people in career transition. I have also been asked to present at national research conferences and as a guest lecturer in graduate school classes.

At the end of it all, instead of feeling accomplished, I just felt burnt out. Like I was endlessly striving to achieve something I could never reach.

It wasn't until I learned about my Unique Career Design (my Human Design) that all the pieces began to fall into place for me.

Once I learned how to Lead by My Design, given a decision-making strategy, and understood how to tap into my unique strengths and gifts and identify where my mind's mental pressures were tripping me up, I had logical information about myself that brought me more success and satisfaction. I became aware of how to make decisions that were in my best interest, what was reliable and consistent in me and where my distractions are.

Now, I am offering others the chance to learn their own unique strategy.
